Always Fair...
There is a thing that Heaven requires
of all those who one day hope to aspire
to receive the Lord's grace and forgiveness,
from minor sins to great wickedness.
This one thing that will be greatly weighed
is how you treated others while here, you
stayed.
Many hope "their actions matter not,"
that "if you believe, all sins are forgot."
But when the Lord opens up the book
and at your life He takes a look,
He will judge by deed and by heart
to see if there was fairness on your part.
But if in your deals with friends and others,
you tried to take advantage of your
brothers,
then to His sadness and to your fright,
He'll see you can't be trusted to do what's
right.
Yes, if you've been unfair in your dealings,
it will make a difference in the Lord's
feelings.
So in all your dealings, be sure to take care
that you are honest, upright and always
fair.
Now, one more thing I give unto you,
sound advice that will bring peace anew.
It will comfort your heart and lift you up,
as if your soul drank from the Lord's own
cup.
Where you have wronged someone in the past,
be brave and return unto them at last.
Make right with them, what you did wrong
so the Savior will see, with Him you
belong.
"Know ye not that the
unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
Be not deceived...Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be?
Verily I say unto you, even as I am."
Paul,
to the Corinthians (1Cor, 6:9)
and,
Jesus Christ,
to the Nephites (3Nephi, 27:27)
