"...and thank you dear God, and I know that you live.
       The evidence is everywhere and in everything you give.
My own life has been a long trail of miracles and blessings.
       Like a king’s dinner table, complete with desserts and dressings.
I know the earth is your vineyard and your harvest is ready.
       And the laborers are few that will work hard and steady.
And I’m grateful for the chance you’ve given me to work.
       And I promise, dear God, I’ll do my best and not shirk.
Now, I pray for more blessings as I come before you today.
       I ask for time and talents, so I can help others along the way.
I don’t ask to be out front, I don’t ask to lead the show,
       I’d be happy, dear God, if you just gave me weeds to hoe.
What I want is to tell others about the joy given me.
       What I want is to tell them about thy Son and Thee.
