We are sorry for any inconvenience our absence caused. If you have missed an order, let us know. If you have sent in a story and it is not here, let us know. And last but not least, thank you so very-very much for the kind letters and e-mails you've sent us. Over the past 2 years, we've had about 80 thousand visits and 4 to 5 times that many hits.

"...we are made alive in Christ because of our faith...
And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ,
we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies,
that our children may know to what source they may look
for a remission of their sins." 2 Nephi 25: 25-26

A Phone Call Home...

This is a most interesting world and age we live in.
With technology what it is, I hardly know where to begin.
But perhaps the thing that fascinates me the most
is the thing called the cell phone of which inventors boast.
My simple mind just doesn’t have the ability to understand
how I can talk to a friend with an object in my hand.
An object not connected to anything and beeps when turned on.
Reaching anywhere in the world and heavily depended upon.
Each year there is a new cell phone, smaller and better.
One day it will be perfect and with the thickness of a letter.

These leaps in man’s technology have really made me see
that we are only scratching the surface of the possibilities.
For if man’s technology can build a phone that is this small,
Heavenly Father can build a phone that can’t be seen at all.
And if man can keep creating a more miniature phone,
Heavenly Father can put in our soul a phone to call home.
On man’s phone, you hold it, press the numbers, then send.
With God’s, you think the thoughts and it rings on His end.
And though many choose not to believe, thinking prayer odd,
try it anyway.  ...The number to call home is 1-800-Dear-God.

Officer Samuel Jeppsen #3751, (Ret) October 13th, 2003

"And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him,
this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him:
That he lives!"
